I am an undergraduate student located in Utah. I invest in vacant properties nationwide to fund my college education– and give back opportunities for higher education. Academic Acres donates $100 to CAMFED (non-profit charity supporting women's education in African countries) with each property sale.
We mail offers to active listings and off-market properties, identified with public records.
Offers are made based off an entire county or zip code. Prices per acreage can vary within a county so the offer extended is an average. You may have property improvements that increase your land value, meaning my offer was too low. I encourage you to respond with a counter offer if that is the case, so we can begin a conversation.
You may have received an offer regarding a singular parcel, but if you have more parcels let's talk. There is no acreage limit.
Self reliance is a core value that has motivated me to learn about land investing. I look up to my parents for their example of hard work.
I pay 100% of Title Company closing costs and outstanding property taxes within reason.
The price agreed upon is the price you get. Payment may take 30-45 days since purchases are done through local Title Companies to protect both parties.
